-Amber Walls is the title of the debut EP by singer/songwriter Victoria Rose Fearn. All of the songs were written by 20-year-old Victoria and produced by Swang for RSP Experiment. The EP was recorded to 2 inch tape at Mighty Toad Studio in the summer and fall of 2019. Featuring sweet vocals, introspective lyrics, soaring strings and inspirational melodies, this EP is a musical labor of love designed to touch your heart and soul. Enjoy...

-A BIG week for the Experiment! The music video for Victoria Rose Fearn's debut release, "Giddy," is taking off on YouTube! Check it out below. Like what you hear? Her EP - entitled "Amber Walls" - drops in a few short weeks. "Giddy" was written by Victoria and features (in addition to her soaring vocals) Swang on guitar, ukelele, drums, bass and keys. Craig Dreyer and Victoria added some funky handclaps too!

-For an alternate Valentine's vibe, Jason Gill's new release is entitled "Wild Hearts." The throwback rocker - written by Jason - features the phenomenal Habbert Cheeks III on drums, Jason on guitar and vocals with Swang handling bass, keys and a bit of extra guitar goodness. -Happy New Year! In celebration, Gene Taylor has followed up his hit single "Think It Over" with another banger! "Still Hangin' On" was written by Gene and produced and arranged by Swang for RSP Experiment. Recorded to tape by Craig Dreyer at Mighty Toad Studio and mixed by Swang at RSP-NYC, the track features Andy Bauer on drums, Doug Hinrichs on congas, Swang on keys and guitar with Gene handling all the vocals.

November 2019

-More new music for you this fall. Check out the debut single by singer-songwriter Gene Taylor. "Think It Over" was written by Gene and produced by Swang for RSP Experiment. Recorded to tape by Craig Dreyer at Mighty Toad Studio in Brooklyn, the track features Gene on vocals and acoustic with Swang handling drums, synths, piano, clavinet, talkbox and electric guitar. -"Air I Breathe" - the new single by Jason Gill is now available. Written by Jason and produced by Swang for RSP Experiment, the song features performances by Lou Clark (drums), Frederika Krier and Tomoko Omura (violins), Yumi Oshima (viola), Jillian Blythe (cello), Ekaterina Mamysheva (additional vocal), Jason Gill (acoustic guitar, percussion, lead and backing vocals) and Swang (synths, percussion, electric, nylon and bass guitars). "Air I Breathe" was recorded in March at Mighty Toad Studio by Craig Dreyer. Mixed by Swang at RSP-NYC. Mastered by Jonathan Jetter at Right Angle Recording.

We worked extra hard on this one and think it shows. We hope you enjoy it enough to share with your music loving family and friends everywhere. Thanks so much for your support! The Experiment continues...

-Happy New Year! Check out the official lyric video for Jason Gill's new single! The disco-fueled throwback - entitled 'Pedestal' - was released on January 19th in solidarity with the annual Women's March for Equal Rights. Produced by Swang for RSP Experiment, the song is now available through streaming and download services worldwide. The lyric video also serves as the unofficial launch of RSP-TV on YouTube. Be sure to click the 'Subscribe' button as there is much more exclusive YouTube content to come.

-Happy Holidays! In a show of solidarity with the annual Women's March for Equal Rights, Jason Gill's controversial new single will be released on January 19th, 2019 - the date of the march. The disco-charged throwback - entitled 'Pedestal' - was written by Jason himself, and produced, arranged and mixed by Swang for RSP Experiment. 'Pedestal' features Habbert Cheeks III on drums; Chris Vega on bass; Layla Davias and Ida Metsberg on backing vocals; Swang on piano, synths and percussion; and Jason on guitar, lead and backing vocals. Also featuring the dazzling string section of Audrey Defreytas Hayes, Frederika Krier, Yumi Oshima and Alexandra Jones playing Swang's own arrangement. While this one is guaranteed to raise some eyebrows and debates, Jason and Swang just believe it's a great one to march to. :-)

-Update! RSP Experiment is happy to announce that CC Eve's "Better Off Alone" has been released. Click the link below to listen and download. Produced by Andy Bauer and Swang. The summer of RSP Experiment continues! Enjoy, everybody...

-The date has been set! Soul-stirring singer and songwriter CC Eve will release her inspiring new single to all platforms on August 15th! "Better Off Alone" - an anthem of personal triumph - was written by CC herself and produced by Andy Bauer and Swang. In addition to CC's soaring vocals, the uptempo track features guitarist Binky Griptite formerly of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings; bassist Nikhil Yerawadekar of the supergroup Antibalas with Andy on drums and percussion and Swang on keys.

CC Eve's full-length EP, to be released in the autumn, is a tour de force of gorgeous melodies, soulful harmonies and infectious grooves. Another labor of love brought to you by RSP Experiment...with more to come!

-Just in time for your summer throwdown, Jason Gill is back with a new RSP Experiment! "Never Gonna Part" features Jason himself on guitar and vocals with horns arranged by Swang and performed by Ravi Best (Kool & the Gang) and Joel Cruz (Days of Wild). Vocalist phenom Jason Murden lends backing vocals as well with Swang tackling Linn Drum programming, percussion, Rhodes, synths and production. Shout outs to Craig Dreyer at Mighty Toad Studio and Jonathan Jetter at Right Angle Recording.

-2018 may be half over, but The Experiment is just getting started! "Better Off Alone" - the first single from the forthcoming EP by the amazing CC Eve - will be released in a few weeks. Both the song and the EP were co-produced by Swang and Andy Bauer (Twin Shadow) and feature an all-star lineup of musicians rumbling underneath CC's soaring vocal harmonies.

Swang was welcomed with open arms. Good times! Now it's back to NYC to continue work on some exciting projects. CC Eve's EP is ready for mixing, and Jason Gill's next release is prepped for mastering. End of the month, Swang and K Sloan head to the Independent Music Awards ceremony at Lincoln Center. Say your prayers and cross your fingers as K's EP Blank Pages is up for an award in the Urban EP category! -The incredible news is out! Swang has happily accepted an invitation to join the legendary Family Stone as their lead singer and keyboardist. Anyone who knows Swang knows how important the music of Sly and the Family Stone is to him. To be asked to travel the world playing this phenomenal catalog of songs with musicians who helped create it is a dream come true. The Family Stone is on the road now, and tour dates can be found at the link below. More dates will be added in the coming weeks so catch Swang with the Family Stone when they come to your town!

-Earlier this year, Swang had the pleasure of being invited to participate in a live-in-studio session with the mighty Token Johnson at Triple Colossal Studios in Hoboken, NJ. Led by drummer-for-the-stars Dylan Wissing, this collective is made up of some of the best session players on the planet. -It's here! At long last, Blank Pages, the new EP by the incomparable singer-songwriter K Sloan, is released. The EP, produced, arranged and mixed by Swang for RSP Experiment, was recorded over the course of 8 months. The sessions were recorded to tape at Mighty Toad Studio in Brooklyn, NY with the awesome Craig Dreyer engineering. Additional overdubs and mixing took place at RSP-NYC. A total of 20 outstanding musicians and vocalists participated in the recording with Swang himself playing drums, percussion, bass, keys and guitar on the majority of the tracks. K and Swang wish to thank all of their friends, followers, families and fans for their tireless support for this labor of love.
